Certified Member in Need Membership Scholarship Application

Thank you for your interest in the membership scholarship with the HFMA San Diego-Imperial Chapter. Our chapter has a limited number of funds allocated towards certified members who need chapter’s support to continue their membership and retain their certification. In order to qualify for a certified member in need membership scholarship, individuals must:

1. Have been a member of HFMA for 3 years or more
2. Have obtained CHFP certification
3. Be currently employed in the healthcare or related industry and employer does not pay for HFMA memberships
4. Have personal and/or professional hardship

Applications for certified member in need membership scholarships are processed on a first-come first-serve basis. All scholarships are presented to the HFMA San Diego-Imperial Chapter Board for approval during chapter board meetings. Please contact Alece Hon at a1hon@health.ucsd.edu for additional questions.
